  If you like being asked to submit endless reams of paperwork every other day and doing so for weeks on end, if you like moving your "due" date multiple times and waiting until a few days before closing before getting a mortgage decision.....then this is the right place to go. I have a 800+ credit score, was willing to put 20% down on the new house + own a house in Texas and was still put through the wringer with these folks - will not in a thousand years willingly do anything with Wyndham again. In fairness, I did get a mortgage in the end so it was not an entire fiasco - just way more frustrating that it should have been. Should also note that they did sell my mortgage to a different company within a month.

  I worked with Kara Whitman and would 100% recommend her! I was extremely satisfied with her help in choosing the correct refinance for me. When she called she had already prepared several options to present to me and ran numbers for a few more options that I wanted to consider. She was very respectful of my wish to keep my monthly financial burden equal to or less than the payments I was already making for all the debts being consolidated without lengthening the time remaining on my loan. Any questions I asked were responded to usually same day if not first thing the next morning. When all was said and done I was able to pay off my car, second mortgage, and get money out for a nanny all which going from 23 years left to pay on my loan to a new 15 year fixed.

  Kara was nothing short of phenomenal. I would say of the entire home buying process my favorite part was working with her. If you want someone who knows their stuff it is her. I am an extremely opinionated consumer and I did a lot of shopping around for a mortgage and I will say that Kara was by far the most competent in her field. She was able to answer any question I had (and I had a lot) from the most general (first time home buyer) to the most specific. Not only was she great to work with, Wyndham Capital Mortgage was so much cheaper than the big companies like Quicken and Wells Fargo it was a no brainer. I had been working with multiple people from other companies and I knew that I would switch to Wyndham after the first time I spoke with Kara. She offered me the best deal she absolutely could from the very beginning. Other companies will offer you higher rates and closing costs up front but once you've found a better deal elsewhere they will try to match that price. They will say "Nick, but I went to my Vice President and got an approval to match Wyndham's offer just for you! We are making this special exception just for you!". Kara gave me that offer from the first time we spoke, which is called being ethical. I honestly can't say enough about how great she was. If you are smart you will pick her to finance your loan.

  I worked with Kara Whitman on the refinance of my house and was totally pleased with the experience I had working with her. She was extremely knowledgeable and caring and to say the least very patient with me. I will recommend Kara at Wyndham Capital Mortgage any chance I get. It has been almost a month since the refinance and she is still willing to answer any questions that I have for her. Thank you Kara and Wyndham Capital Mortgage.
